Hey Mike, just wanted to say thank you for being a first responder. All of us in that position share one privilege and that’s taking off from what we’re doing when the pager goes off to try to help and make somebody’s bad day a little better.

Our preference these days is for dogs, but cats have their charms too. I love your photos here. Had an orange Beetle like that too. The second of two. I still need to see Best In Show.
I once helped start a community theatre and discovered that in small town community theatres, getting males to act is like pulling wisdom teeth. So I had to actually take a couple of minor roles to help get it off the ground- that was a few years after Waiting for Guffman ( the precursor to Best in Show) came out. So I really understood and still giggle at that, and several more of Christopher Guest movies.

I have always thought that a dog is a good loyal companion whereas a cat is too aloof to be a friend.
