Michael that was such a great story. John was a influence on so many people's lives. My lady and I saw him at least four times in four different states over a span of 20 years. We got hear all the good stuff along with him, Todd Snider, Iris DeMent, etc. We saved the best for last, Red Rocks in 2017. Kacey Musgraves and Fiona Prine. He will be in heart's and souls forever.

Seems you’re a real entertainer now!! Your stories used to be about becoming a writer and musician and now you’re spinning yarns about being a musician and writer. WI is proud of our “small town boy does well” boy!

Music in my mind and heart died more than a little when John Prine died of Covid- and I am so impressed that you knew of his music and actually met him- There are a lot of reason I have always felt akin to you and the way you but stories and words together. Two of the best- John and Mike.

I remember when I first heard John Prine. There was something about his voice that said truth. Not the best sounding voice I've ever heard. But the lyrics! That man could speak to your soul. He has been one of my favorites ever since. When he passed he took a bit of us all with him. But I guess that's only fair considering all he gave us.
