I took modern dance classes with Michael Doran in the late 90s so spent a fair amount of time around Barry Lynn. One of a kind! So glad you included Barry here.
Yo Mikeeeee....I guess some things from the Nabburn days still come back to me, ha.
Aside from my Lord & Savior, experiencing life and death and near death experiences, calibrate me daily and keep me grounded. I enjoy listening to your new stories, relistening to your old ones, and many of them, reliving!
Keep on keeping on, cause your humor is keeping a lot of us truckin' 💪
Would love to have a quick phone convo with ya if & when time permits.
Hey "Lane" good to hear from you. Was just up in Nobbern driving some of the backroads (wait, maybe they're ALL backroads up there?!?) remembering many of our calls. Drop me an email at mike at sneezingcow dot com and I'll get back to you. I'm hunkered working on a project for the next week but will be checking emails.
I relate to shoveling manure. My friend and I were cleaning a pen and were 3/4 done. I said lets take a break. He said lets get done and take a big break. The things we remember even 45 years a go.
I sure enjoy your stories, whether in book form or hearing you speak on these podcasts. I was raised on a farm in Weyerhaeuser, County Rd F. We used to go through New Auburn to go to Eau Claire, and of course our sports teams competed against yours. When I read your stories, I realize it doesn't matter if I was raised in New Auburn or not, small towns are pretty much the same. And I love to visualize where you are referring to in your stories. Thanks for bringing back memories of the farm and small town life.
Mike - Thanks for another great episode! It has been great following you in your journey all the way back to the ambulance days. I do enjoy running into you every now and then on a scene. Glad to be able to call you a friend! Keep up the great work!
I have read most of your books. Recently I loved Million Billion. Laughed so much. Just one comment I’m sure you know: when memorizing dialogue, write it down, pen and paper! Your brain will send it to you when you need it! Love you.

Thanks for you work.
That's a great line!

Yep, lots of Weyerhaeuser memories. Had friends who went to school there, played football there. Thank you for listening and reading. I'm grateful.
My cat was curled up on my lap while I listened this afternoon. Thank you.
What a lovely image. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the recap. Always enjoy your work...whether written or spoken word. Hope to see you in the DC/New York area one day. Stay safe, buddy.
Thank you. I'll keep on keepin' on.

Thank you. I rarely make calls anymore but still make a few. Those ambulance days were good training, that's for sure.

Thank you for your kind words, and for reading and listening. And I'll write down that tip so I don't forget it!
Very good incite from you for the new subscribers. Always a pleasure listening to your past and present adventures.

Thank you. I enjoyed choosing some photos and reacting to them as I put them in context.
Thank you.
You bet.
