Reminds me of a rocking chair given to my wife by her grand parents when she was a child. She sat in it ,our children sat in it ,our grandchildren sat in it. Now my wife has passed the grandchildren have all out grown it so it sits in the corner waiting. Great song.

So, this tugged my heartstrings and I don't even have children. I shed a few tears. And I love the photos that make it even more real. Reminded me a bit of Ed Sheran's songs. Seriously love this. Makes me miss my dad (Gary Stegeman). This is the kind of music we need on the radio (digital or otherwise!)
Ugh, right in the feels. My oldest son is 28 and we're just now at a point where he'll randomly call me from the state where he lives now, and we'll talk for three hours or more. As a teen mom, I really struggled with raising him and his brother, and we didn't get along for several years. So the phone marathons now are extra meaningful. Just wish he didn't have to move so far away to figure it out. Makes the song hit different, for sure.
